In January 1986, Dr. Robbins Barstow of Wethersfield, Connecticut, filmed a two-week cruise circumnavigating Mexico's Baja Peninsula. The trip included close encounters with seven different species of cetaceans -- Gray, Humpback, Bryde's, and Blue Whales, three kinds of dolphins, and giant elephant seals. (One Hour)

Whalewatching Adventures in Baja California
What a pleasure to go on a whale watch with Robbins Barstow; not only is it a great trip but Robbins has such enthusiasm and gratitude for everything.
...
There are many sightings of whales and dolphins, all filmed with Robbins' sense of awe and love of subject; and that is also true of the seabirds, bays, sunsets, and the sea itself. This is a very educational adventure into the prime whale territory of Baja, and the great narration adds fun and appreciation along the way.
